Sorry been awhile. I have not done anything more on this one, the leaf spring, and hole in the center might have some flaws, so instaed of doing alot of work and ending up with some heartbreak, I figured I would start over with some virgin stock 5160. Check it out:

At first glance I didn't notice the blade in your hand and only was aware of the one on the table. Seeing it like that next to you I thought it's going to take someone the size of Andre' the Giant (RIP) to swing that monster. ;D Then I noticed the blade in your hand.
Nice work. Looking forward to seeing the finished sword.
