And what, pray tell, have you done for the advancement of our shared hobby?

We get it and all agree this is Paul's forum! No one is putting that into question so we can all jump off that regurgitation train eh? People say that like its supposed to mean something specifically. Yes, Paul has chosen mods to work the forum, but that doesnt mean they dont make mistakes. Is Paul going to lash them openly if they do, of course not, so what are you talking about. People keep saying the same thing over and over again about how mods are chosen and they represent Paul. So is that saying that they cannot be held accountable for their actions. Do they get a free pass from logic and common sense? It would seem many hear believe so, and that is a problem IMO. As I said before, the vast majority of the time the mods do a great job, no question there, however, just like the rest of us they are not without flaw and I for one will not let it go unnoticed. I was always happy to hear others opinions about the decisions I made as a professional. Unfortunately it would seem that egos, like promises have gotten far to fragile over the years. Very scary to see what the next generation produces if things continue on this path.

Hopefully I add a much needed and unexpressed humorous commentary, maybe something pray-tell interesting to read instead of the sewing circle(Too bad I can't say what I mean, involving a basic geometric shape and the sudden quick thrust, push, pull, or jerk) of comments.

Speaking of something brown... I have the image of something brown flying straight to a fan.
Mostly everyone here has been respectful so far but now it seems this discussion is about to go downhill big time. I am going to ask this once. Everyone be/stay respectful. Thank you very much.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm thinking that we've all pretty much said our piece here. It's OK to disagree on some of this stuff, but when a horse dies, it's a good idea to dismount. Otherwise you look kind of silly trying to ride it into the sunset. Swords. That's the thing we agree on. Anyone get a new one lately?

Ummm, not really. We are glad to have you here, and appreciate the input when you arent making snide comments, but the "much needed humor"? ummm .... no.

Yes, yes I did. I need to get off of my duff, and update my collection pics to reflect some recent acquisitions that I have made. I wish that I had the photo skills to do a decent review. Truth be told, I am daunted by the quality of the reviews posted by some of our more learned members, and do not think that I could come anywhere close to being as informative or well researched as theirs are. I cut like an epileptic Meth addict, and would like to be able to post some results in a review to support the "it handles like a dream" or "cuts effortlessly" claims. I am working studiously on improving my skill set though, so at some point I may actually contribute more to this site than an off color sense of humor and random banter

reviewer skills aside, I'd love to see a review of your new sword Chuck. I find that as long as people take lots of pictures and they are not completely fuzzy the review turns out pretty good. it doesn't matter if your sword is sitting on the living-room carpet, or on your bedspread, or something fancy.

I don't wanna see a review by Chuck... cuz he has picked up some of my blades, and I miss em... and seeing a review of them would just make me sad and miss em even more.

I don't have anything new, but I have a lot of stuff I'm revamping that I never reviewed the first time. :?
Go for the review, Chuck. It's fun watching Sean squirm.
Just kidding, Sean!
