I got a VA Hedemark. It's already in the classifieds though. I am getting really picky anymore. Haven't purchased a sword in over a year, and already decided this isn't the one I want. Unfortunately there isn't anything else in teh SBG sword store that appeals to me (please don't lynch me guys). This is good for SBG though -I am selling the sword back to an SBG'er at a discount and forfeiting the balance of my winnings to SBG for upkeep. I'm still on the hunt for that elusive Viking sword.

stand up decision Maz- to give back the balance. I had a feeling you would do that. i'd karma you for it if i could.

the hanwei Saxon is the best bet close to SBG borderlines. Several DIYers on myarmoury are ripping apart the sword and giving it all sorts of praises. The pattern weld is top notch and the blade is beautiful. I've read that couple others are keeping it as is. I think the fittings are ugly, as do many, but good viking fittings are all over compared to medieval fittings :)
gl sword hunting maz and grats on winning and then giving back some more !
