I like the grip and loop/pommel on the first one. Am I seeing it right that there's a piercing on the blade, where the clipped point starts? Because I think that would be cool.
The second one is cute, and a good design. The proportions might be a little too short and stubby, but maybe not. Makes me want to see the little adventurer who wields it.

Thanks for your reply! I've seen your designs and they are very beautiful and impressive. The thistle themed sword you drew for the DSA contest was simply astonishing!
Yes, it is a piercing on the first one, and I had drawn a kind of a tassel to fit in, but it was very... contemporary, so I edited it out. The grip is a version of the Hanwei Dadao; A pattern I like quite much.
Great to know that the second one lives up to its name; I wanted it to be short and 'cute', and I actually began to draw the little adventurer himself, but that has to wait for another day.

I have now drawn the Little Adventurer and a picture of him when he's a bit older. The Two Handed Sword is inspired by those training swords pictured in old sword training manuscripts. The Scythe has a hoof at the lower end of the handle, but I messed it up a bit.

From now on you will be able to view some of my unforgetable, breath taking, earth shaking, love making (?) classics! Enjoy! A lot!

It's a very attractive design. I especially like the shape of the blade and the engraving.
Also, I could see The Little Adventurer as the star of a series of children's fantasy adventure picture books.

You know, the more I look at the Sword of Fall, the more I like it. I wasn't a big fan at the first impression but now it's growing on me.

Added a viking sword design which I came up with for the DSA Sword Design Contest in 2010.
