When you said you were going to cut with the Deepeeka I was a little incredulous. When I watch the vid I was astounded And just an Accusharp..... Nicely done.

Thanks for the review, Ninjadave. I've altered my opinion of Deepeeka from a few years back. I intend to get a few of their products. I don't think they heat treat their blades tho which would explain why they're a bit soft. Still, with a shorter blade like a gladius this wouldn't be a problem to me. Nice cutting.

Thanks guys. Ric, I think your right about the heat treatment, I wouldn't buy a Deepeeka sword with a blade any longer than gladius size because of the soft steel. At least soft steel is very hard to chip, it would probably just dent a bit on a bad cut!
