Hey everyone, figure I'd mention to all who haven't heard...I'm no longer in the que for one of these babies. I've sold my spot to wnydel here on the forums so I'm gracefully bowing out. Best of luck to all awaiting their Atlantean...may your patience be greater than mine!

After a long trip across the ocean, the first Conan Warrior sword will be with Dave in a few days. Here's a sneak peak:

Just picked this up from the airport, and I must say John you did a fabulous job, the photos do not do it justice, this is a real live Atlantean sword. It does not look pristine, it looks like a sword that has been forgotten and then painstakingly restored. The effort John put into this sword was apparent as soon as I tried to open the box it came in, 70+ screws just to get it out of the wooden case, then foam padding and a coating of oil on the blade wrapped in a plastic sleeve. This sword has been a favorite of mine for 20 years so to own one is just so great. For everyone else on the list, I have only one thing to say, it is worth the wait so hang in there. Once again John and Rob, it was great dealing with you.. Well done, now i'm off to practice my twirling before Sean gets his. Just a quick edit to replace broken photo links.

Great to hear it got to you ok!
As we have mentioned before, these are all slightly different blades, and a few people have different options so it will be exciting watching them come together. John was worried that people are expecting a super perfect blade (like the finest Albions) so I just wanted to re-affirm these are the warriors swords, with blades pitted and scarred, being given the deluxe treatment. Pic's of each blade are back on page 1 or something, and John has progress shots for those he is working on next. I'll post them once I make sure I have the blade numbers for them sorted.
CHEERS TO GREYBEARD!

Alll Riiiigght!!! Thank you Dave for the good words! Music to my ears! Now I really want to hear how she twirls for you - not so much the monster-beast we expected, you think? Substantial ++, for sure, but not ungainly. May she serve you well!!!
Thanks, William! Considering the many diamonds in your collection, I truly appreciate your compliment!
Thanks, Rob! You're exactly right that each blade is uniquely its own. Makes the building of them, and the collection, as a group, much more interesting. DeeJays is moving forward as we speak... (whoops, look out! There she goes...)
Thanks, John! I had hoped to get together with you to let you see the finished sword before I shipped it. With your having been the prior owner of Albion's very own, I'd really like to get your thoughts on the Warrior version. Maybe for the next one, eh?
Sean, I wish I could promise to have yours finished in time for the get together... but its unlikely... Maybe, if DeeJay's is finished, and he's ok with it, I could bring that one down for you to give a twirl.

While that would be beyond awesome... I would never expect you to be able to get it done that fast. Still, getting a look at what it will look like would be cool. That is very brotherly of ya... it would be well cared for if it comes to visit, I assure you.
