Great drawing, it has a very good flow of lines. Now that would be something for BKS when they do this show creating fantasy weaponry

Slayer scythe: much better than the original prop.
As for the rest of this comment, it's about four years late, but: As for the other designs, 7 down under "new designs" on the first page, beautiful XVIIIe blade design. My favorite blade type, and the design is just stellar.
Also, the zweihander looking one with the parrying hooks about 20 images down under "new designs" is also a great looking concept sketch.

Thanks for the kind words! I hadn't looked at these in a long time myself, so no worries regarding being "four years late." I appreciate the compliments. That XVIIIe is still one of my favorites, too, which is funny because it began as a challenge to myself: can I take certain elements I don't usually like and combine them in a way that speaks to me? Very different than just indulging myself and my own tendencies, and it forced me to appreciate other sword types in a new way. Looking at it now, I definitely kept that pommel in the back of my mind all the way up until making the slayer scythe the other day. Funny how that works. Here are the images so there's no need to scroll back to the other pages: "Slayer Scythe" Lochaber axe: Fantasy XVIIIe: As for myself, in many ways I still think this one is the best I've done. The simplest one, the most clean, and the hardest to pull off smoothly.

You have a talent! Very detailed and beautiful designs. I would love to have some of them myself! Your celtic/elven knot work is beautifully done.
