A hearty welcome to the SBG sword forum!
Before we get started with your orientation, I'd like to personally welcome you aboard - after all, without you - it would be a pretty quiet and pointless place!
It's very important that before you post on the forum you are familiar with our forums rules as outlined in our charter of members rights and responsibilities - there aren't a whole heap of rules and regulations, and those that are there are in place only to ensure that communication on these forums is at all times courteous, respectful and honest.
Ours is the kind of forum that encourages healthy debates, not flame wars and arguments, and as long as you keep this in mind all times - you'll never have a problem here..
As a new member, we encourage you to jump right in and meet the rest of our forum family by posting an introductory message in our official welcome wagon - you don't have to write a huge essay, but just say hi to everyone, tell us a little bit about yourself and about what kind of swords you like the most, as well as maybe a few words about your experiences thus far and anything else you want to add so that our community can get to know you (we have a great bunch of people here, as well as rules and codes of practice firmly in place to ensure that no one treats you disrespectfully).
If you have any burning questions, you're more than welcome to post them in our beginners forum when we take the philosophy that the only stupid question is the one that is not asked!
After you have a few posts under your belt, you're free to post anywhere on the site -and we especially encourage you to submit your sword reviews and make yourself at home by hanging up some pictures in the member's collections Gallery - plus don't forget to drop in for a good old fashioned chinwag in the SBG Forum Café
I truly hope that you will find your stay with us both educational, inspirational and hopefully a whole lot of fun!
