Well - it took me long enough to get around to it. But as you can guess, the reason I have been awol the last few days has had a lot to do with putting together the images and the links for the SBG Review Map (unoffically referred to as the 'index thingy').
Well that and the fact that I lost my internet connection from 8am to 5pm today...
Anyway, have a quick look. I have ONLY listed the hands on reviews, and soon after launching it realized that there are still a few missing... (There are 5 that spring to mind, but as of 5 minutes ago I was soo tired and htmled out that the very last sword was written down as the 'Hanwei G. Scott Hoagland, review by Dadao'). Yes, while Mr. Dadao may well write a good review, it wasn't exactly what I was intending to write down...
There are probably a few mislinks and other general stuff ups, but I'll be doing a proper proof of it tomorrow.
Anyway (anyway, anyway) at least it is up! ;D Yay! Woohoo!
Now I am off to collapse in a heap somewhere until tomorrow. Lol.
That's an excellent addition. Nice to see everything in one simple place. Question. Is that a listing of every review that has been done on the forum or is that more of a highlights thing? Also will you be updating that as more reviews get added ?
Centurion: its only the reviews on the main site at this point, but more forum reviews will be brought across over the coming months. And yes, as a review is newly added to the site, it will be listed here too so the whole thing is constantly updated.
Rammstein: those two reviews are up now. Others I omitted included cs76cs's review of the Celtic, Jakes review of the Scramasax and my reviews of the Maximilian and Medieval Knight (sorry to all involved about that. Apart from me of course, lol.)
I'm 99% sure I haven't missed out any other reviews (aww, bugger it - I forgot to include the Cheness Higo and Kanbai reviews, but these swords are discontinued so I don't think there is any huge rush..! )
Luke: Nah, that's what the forums are for! But Dark is right, the indepth ones will go in over the next few months.
I've actually got a big backlog of swords to try out here, including the Cheness O-Katana, Kurome, Windlass Twinkle Elf Sword, DSA Gothic Two Hander, a couple of VA Chinese swords (Jian and Dao), a Shen Guang Long Wushu Sword and that's just off the top of my head. Always running behind schedule I am afraid, just not enough darned hours in the day!!!
