I think that the crossguard is hideous, but I like the texture of the wood grip.

I agree it is ugly, but still kinda cool. I won't be forking over the $$ for it but still, there's something about it that keeps me coming back for another look.
the work they did on it sounds pretty cool, I'd like to see that on a historically accurate sword.
you know what, I kind of like it.
but it's still strange.

If you clipped off the claws and added balls on the end of the crossguards then I'd like it a lot better. I dunno why... those look like chicken feet. Very silly.

I agree. The crossguard is horrible.

I LOVE this sword (even the chicken feet, lol! ;D), but if I were to have $1500 to spend... I'd have Odin make a version of this instead! I bet they would be nearly the same price, but Odin's would surely be higher quality even than this masterpiece. I know I'd usually choose Brenno for everything, but this sword seemingly lends itslef to Odin's style, don't you think? Regardless, a GREAT sword. I likey!!! ;D -Slayer

That doesn't look comfortable in the hand at all. Its to thin, round and looks hard. The guard is ugly too.
