Wow. I haven't owned an axe, but I have considered it. This makes me want to research it. When do you think these axes will go out of production? At that price, I think I must snap one up!
Thanks for the karma, Midori.
You know, I keep hearing that Pete is going to retire, hell for over 2 years now. No one knows when it'll happen or what'll happen to the axe production when he does. But the general consensus is that the axes will stop being produced.

RickDastardly: There's a Paul Chen (CAS?) Bushido katana for sale on a UK forum for £295. No connection to me, I'm just a member. Looks a bargain; I'd have it if I had spare cash. You need to sign up a FREE membership to view, and pay £5 membership to use PM there.

RufusScorpius: Heading to Paris next week for a day and a half with Honneur de Armes goofing around with sword stuff. Those guys are half my age and practice every day so they should literally slaughter me but good.

RufusScorpius: We also mixed weapon types: katana vs. 2 swords, buckler vs katana, 2 sword vs 2 sword, etc. I see really good potential with a 2 sword technique, but it's definitely not a beginners system. It was very challenging. I need proper training to get good

RufusScorpius: Spent the day in Essen with Markus313 learning more about the buckler. I really like it a lot! Markus is getting much better with the katana. It was a good workshop day, but now I'm sore... happens when you get old...

RufusScorpius: I've picked up Ka-bars before. They aren't that heavy so I don't anticipate that you will have any problems with one. You could probably hold one in each had with a little effort.
