I have recently purchased a Hanwei Scottish Basket Hilt Broad Sword in the Antiqued style (SH2002N) for use in RenFair. Any thoughts on this sword? Also need a decent brown baldric any thoughts on where to go?

Hi kristie, Thanks for the baldric web site. Is very good. You're welcome. I thought they were pretty reasonable, too. I should have thought to mention The Inner Bailey but had forgotten about it, so it's a good thing Alvin did. Their stuff looks pretty impessive, too, but they're a bit pricier. It depends on what you want to spend, I suppose. Good luck with your shopping!

Kristie, Thanks great site! Now it will cost me even more as I have found many other items that look interesting. P.S. Got the sword on Friday, and it looks and feels great. Not sharp, but as other people have said, sharpining your own blade is part of the fun of owning one!

I can vouch for the Inner Bailey- they may be a touch pricey, but in this case, you get what you pay for...all of their leatherwork is done by hand. I've gotten a number of belts and swordbelts from them over the years and their customer service is top notch as is their products. I may look into a baldric from Ravenswood though...I like that convertible baldric/belt they have there.
