Thats a good looking sword. And cheap. Very long blade short grip, but slender. It's be a nice addition to a collection.

And it's a simple design and therefore has a low chance of having things fall off/rattle/break. Hopefully someone somewhere has handled it.

Why didn't I just use the search engine in the first place Cheers Alvin +1 So she handles well! That's good to hear. Hmmm I'm confused about the discontinued thing though since MRL are still listing it?

It´s listed in the MRL clearance section actually. This sword is pretty tempting at 169 bucks...a very good poorman´s doge.

Hey Chris, Thanks !! The first thing that I do now when I have a question about a particular sword is to go to James Gall's thread in the Review Section to see if the sword has already been reviewed. It has been a big help to me, especially since before Jim's work it was necessary to pick through pages and pages of reviews. And then sometimes I couldn't find the review I was looking for even though I knew that the sword had been reviewed. Thanks again Jim. Cold, The Sword of Oran does look to be a poor man's version of the Albion Doge.

I never liked that one, but glad to hear its not some POS like my Crecy War Sword. Yea, I'm still salty about it.
