ecovolo, that thing is huge, can it actually be used effectivley? I would live to see a video of someone using it.

If you mean by practicing German fechtbuch positions and stage combat, sure. If you mean cutting something? No way. The blade came blunt, and I left it that way. Plus, after several years of abuse, I don't intend to sharpen it at all . I don't have any video of me using it in stage combat, but here is a photo of me using it during battle pageant at the Southern California Ren Fair in 2004: . . . and another of me in formation, same year. Note that the guy in front of me has a Rittersteel zwie that worked really well in stage combat also: . . .
