ADMIN: This review has been moved and featured on the main site here: www.sword-buyers-guide.com/mortuary-sword.html
Minor changes were made for keyword density purposes, the order of some photos was shifted around slightly and the ratings system at the end of was replaced with the new pros and cons format.
Otherwise, the review is exactly as it first appeared here - with original photos preserved here for posterity (as well as some forum specific banter).

Great review Bill, you covered all the bases very well (The only thing missing was that you are supposed to put your full name and state at the top of the review - a minor point, but it helps). Since we discussed this one before, and I am looking for more reviews of close to US$300 Renaissance blades, this definetlty qualifies for review points. 25 review points and +1 karma for the sign on the stand.

Excellent review, Sweet William (Sharpe reference)! I think this is the most attractive sword in the CAS Hanwei line. Nice to "see" you here!

+1 Billiam
This is the next sword I want to get, I have sold all of my crappy swords and now I'm to start selling some of my better swords that I don't like anymore to get this sword.

I quite like the looks of the Cromwell but it always landed just outside what I could afford, and is now even further out, but eventually I'll pick one up, as well as the standard Mortuary from Hanwei. Good review, but you forgot one other thing that we all love to see in these things: VIDEO!! ;D (great action shot, though. )
