I bought the Kaze from Cheness because of SBG's awesome reviews and peer reviews plus Cheness cutting videos, and the real hamon of this Katana.
My Kaze arrived on November 26, it took about 2 weeks to arive to me. ( If you havn't figure it out, I live in Canada ;D)
Name "Kaze" (Wind)
Blade Differentially Hardened 9260 Silicon Alloy Carbon Spring Steel.
Overall Length (+ Saya) 42.5"
Treatment Full Hand Forged, Clay Hardened, Water Quenched, Hand Polished
Finish Tameshigiri Polish
Blade Dimension 28" Length, 0.3" Width, 1.25" Height
Sori (Curvature) 0.7"
Weight 2 lbs 9 oz
Tsuba/Fuchi/Kashira Blackened Cast Steel Tsuba with Antiqued Brass Fuchi/Kashira
Balance Point 5" above tsuba (with fuller), 6" above tsuba (without fuller)
Tsuka/Ho 11" Wood
Tsuka Ito Brown Cotton
Mekugi 2 X Wood (Double Pinned)
Same Real Ray Skin Panel Wrap
Saya 30.5" Black Glossy Lacquered Medium Hardwood
The Sword was in a Wood box, but it was damaged during shipping, a little chip (no big deal)
My Kaze order included: Katana & Saya, Katana display stand, and a Katana little bag. Oh, and a Cheness Card for Retailers or something
My first impression was cool Katana, looks very classy Japanese Katana. (Kill Bill flashbacks ;D )
Here's the Kaze + Saya

Conclusion
Historical Accuracy: (?/5) Don't exactly get this one...
Geometry (4/5): a bit heavy but you'll get use to it. (balance point somewhere 5cm above the tsuka)
Fit and Finish (4/5): Polish is good. Real solid piece! Plus this is basically based on your preferences.
Structural Integrity (5/5): Overall structure is astonishing solid and a very nice curve to the blade itself.
Value (5/5): $280-$300 range, could of been a little less expensive, but the market doesn't allow it
Handling (5/5): Cut cereal box filled newspaper and newspaper rolls very nice, and no chip, scratch or bend. Very nice cutter!
Overall (4.6/5)
Rough notes: a thick blade, feels solid (one piece).
Cutting tip: If you are about to perform a Diagonal cut, be quick and forceful so you don't end up with a bend.
Practice horizontal cuts first.
