I was looking for the previously reviewed 'Wind Dragon' for $60, but it was out of stock. It was mentioned this one had the same blade, so I snatched it up.
It came relatively well packed, and took one week by ground to get here.
DESIGN, FIT & FINISH
The Blade: For $60, I would expect a lot less. This blade is fantastic looking. 3.5/5
The Grip: Meh, poorly done, but easily reworked. 1/5
I purchased some tennis racquet grip and temporarily fixed the top end.
CUTTING
My expectations we're exceeded for $60. No mat's to cut, but plenty of bottles, cartons, and cardboard. Also some small branches that needed pruned 4/5
Samples of 'some' of my cutting.
Conclusions: for $60 you won't cry if you hurt it, but this one seems to take abuse quite well. The blade is very durable, and I feel like I could push it farther than I want to, and it will reward me with great results if I did.
For so little, you get a lot. No rattles, no clanks, feels solid. A great entry level sword to learn to cut with, and not worry about.
Historical Accuracy: 1/5
Fit and Finish: 3/5
Handling: 3/5
Structural Integrity: 4/5
Value for Money: 5/5
OVERALL: 3.5/5
Highly recommended for the budget minded sword collector.
